Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

Canada Express Entry is a federal immigration program that allows applicants to settle in any province in Canada, except Quebec. Canada is the second largest country in the world, and since the Express Entry program does not focus on the needs of a specific province or region the provincial governments have the Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP). These provincial programs are in place to address local labour shortage and bring high skilled workers to the region.

Each province in Canada has its own Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). Some of these programs are connected to the Express Entry, like the Nova Scotia Experience and New Brunswick Express Entry. The majority of the programs are operated separately from the Express Entry, with different eligibility requirements and processing times.
